With over fifteen years of sales and management experience in the staffing industry, Dan now brings his considerable expertise to the Star One Staffing team.  A native of Lancaster, Wisconsin, Dan previously worked in the Milwaukee area where he was Business Development Manager for a staffing agency and where he was elected to the Leaders Of Growth in 2001. After moving to Madison, Dan has put his skills to work in providing professional staffing solutions to Madison area businesses for the past twelve years. Having worked in all aspects of the staffing industry (from recruiting, interviewing, training, placement, sales and customer service) he loves the challenges and rewards where every day presents a new opportunity to help both companies and individuals grow to their greatest potential.

When not managing the Star One office, Dan is active in sports, hunting, cooking, exploring new restaurants, and reading.  He is a member of the Madison Chamber, SHRM, as well as local civic and chamber organizations. [Contact Dan]

   
   

Char

Char Mueller

As Staffing Director since 1996, Char has helped build Star One Staffing from the foundation up. While she works primarily in the Food Services Division, Char is also involved in recruiting, testing, staffing, and customer service in the Business Services and Health Care Divisions. Char is also responsible for gathering and reconciling all weekly payroll and billing data. Her dedication to Customer Service is one of the many reasons for Star One's reputation of excellence.

When Char is not in the office, she enjoys boating, reading, knitting and cooking. She is also an active member of her church and loves spending time with her three beautiful grandchildren. [Contact Char]

   
   

Jenny

Jennifer Hartman
Staffing Consultant

A native of the Green Bay area, Jenny brings her experience in retail customer service to Star One as the manager of the Health Care Division. With her background in sales and customer relations, she has worked with a diversified clientele, as well as having been responsible for hiring and training employees. With her motivation toward client satisfaction and her can-do attitude, Jenny is dedicated to meeting a client's individual needs.

Connie

Connie Ledford

Connie works full time with Star One's Health Care Division. Before coming to Star One, her hands-on experience in the health care industry included acting as Scheduling Coordinator for a local Nursing Home.  In addition, Connie has worked as a CNA, a Restorative Aide, and has also been a Pre-School teacher in the Madison area.

With a degree in Accounting and Business Management, Dean has over twenty years of experience in the staffing industry. Prior to founding Star One Staffing of Madison, Dean was the Controller for one of the largest nursing and clerical staffing agencies in the Washington DC area, with sixteen offices in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia. Dean then used his previous experience working in a finance company to launch his own funding division for staffing agencies, including payroll services that produced over 175,000 checks annually. As an active partner in Momentum, a software development company that produces back and front office programs tailor-made for the staffing industry as well as accounting solutions for general business, Dean believes in a hands-on approach which gives him better insight into the everyday needs of today's business managers.
